Happy Diwali

A Diwali night.
By the open window,
I stand.
On the flyover
Cars sped... Noisy!


My pair of eyes
Graze the sky.
Diwali crackers
Glitters in the dark.
Beautiful.
And my lips part
into a smile.
The pair of eyes
Watched...
for hours.

On the table
Lay my phone.
Silent...
Drowned into the noise
Of passing cars
And firecrackers.
